- When the gov starts pulling the plug on granny and rationing healthcare the dems will wake up, but by then it will be to late. I pray to God this thing doesn't pass.

- I'm with you all the way Pauline....the whole vote guarantee thing. There's alot out there written about that tactic. It just amazes me what people will do to stay in office rather than serve the people that voted them into that very office. Once all these people get on govt healthcare, do you think they are going to vote it out of their lives after getting a free ride? I don't think so, we'll be stuck with it. This stuff infuriates me. I get tired of hearing that the Rs haven't offered up anything too........The Rs have offered literally 100s of amendments to the health care bills in the Ways and Means Committee, Education and Labor Committee, Energy and Commerce Committee, and others. Nearly every amendment has been voted down. I guess to the Ds, the definition of "offered up anything" is analogous to anything that we agree with and that can keep us Ds in office".

- Hello, to all my Black conservative friends. It is nice to know that I am not alone in my beliefs for smaller government, capitalism, non-socialism, no public-funded abortion, etc. I recently figured out what the Obama and his cohorts strategy is for the Democrats in regards to Health care. I was confused as to why the Dems were trying to push through something that obviously the people do not want. That was a mystery to me. Tell me what you think: 30% of the people will pay for health care for 70% of the people. The 70% will always vote to keep the Dems in office, thereby guaranteeing future elections success for the Democrats. If the Repubs do gain back power, they are going to look cold and unfeeling if they cut off or modify health benefits. Thereby solidifying the Republicans as being heartless and the Democrats being the party that cares. The Republicans will not be in power very long and may not ever gain it back. Has anyone though of this?
